It was a very happy Sunday for Warrington fans with the Wolves knocking rivals Wigan out of the Challenge Cup and bagging a quarter final place. Here are my player rankings...
1 - Daryl Clark
Steve Price said after the game that Clark is the best hooker in the league and as superb as St Helens legend James Roby is, Clark is playing at a ridiculous level right now. An absolutely stunning try today. He's just marvellous every single week.
2 - Stefan Ratchford
The best Ratchford has played all year. Impeccable goal-kicking with five from five, excellent defence including doing really well to avoid a drop-out, as well as a glorious assist for Hughes' try with a genius piece of passing.
3 - Jack Hughes
This was maybe Hughes' best performance of 2019, the second rower seeing plenty of the ball and working well defensively, though the highlight of his day was of course the neat try he scored in the first half, a really strong and powerful finish.
4 - Mike Cooper
Cooper was instrumental in the pack today, constantly throwing himself into tackles and having plenty of strong carries of the ball.
5 - Chris Hill
A captain's performance today, excellent carries of the ball and good in the tackling stakes too. The only minor mark against his name was a penalty conceded when he was offside.
6 - Blake Austin
Not as influential as usual from Austin, though he still had a good game - the highlight being an unbelievable goal line drop-out which forced a Wigan error.
7 - Bryson Goodwin
A try for Goodwin today in the corner to get the team going and he had a fairly good game with the ball, and he only doesn't rank higher because he failed to catch a Williams kick which led to Wigan's first try.
8 - Sitaleki Akauola
He's having a really good impact from the bench at the minute, is Akauola. Today he had a fair few good carries and showed a lot in defence too.
9 - Ben Currie
Had a largely good game, with a few good tackles in key areas, though didn't offer too much in an attacking sense today.
10 - Joe Philbin
Philbin did well today, having some successful carries of the ball and making up a lot of ground. This was a performance which showed why he is better utitlised from the bench.
11 - Ryan Atkins
Scored a really good try which required a lot of strength and direction, as well as making a few decent tackles. Still isn't great in defence though and could've done more to prevent Hardaker's try.
12 - Jason Clark
Had a decent impact when he first came on with some good tackles, though saw his influence on the game lessen as the game went on.
13 - Ben Murdoch-Masila
Showed a lot of strength with pretty much his first carry of the ball to gain metres, which gave a platform for Clark's try, though that was pretty much all he did of note.
14 - Josh Charnley
His side didn't get used much during the game, though he did a sound job of carrying the ball from his own line at times. Let himself down by fumbling that late kick, though.
15 - Toby King
King saw little of the ball today, which is surprising given how influential he was last week at Castleford. He did really well to find Ratchford and avoid a goal line drop-out but that was probably his only memorable moment.
16 - Matt Davis
Had a very quiet game today, though I'm pleased he started again because I think he's done a very good job when he's started.
17 - Declan Patton
Put in a lovely pass for Atkins' try in the second half but other than that had a difficult afternoon, with a series of lacklustre kicks and some shaky decision-making.
Another step closer to Wembley! Check out my blog this week for the build-up to next weekend's clash with Hull FC at the HJ.
It's always our year.
