1) Daryl Clark
It's actually ridiculous how far ahead of the rest Clark is lately. Another outstanding performance. Two wonderful breaks from dummy half and constant tackles make him this week's top man, unsurprisingly.
2) Ben Currie
Big performance from Currie defensively, though he did struggle with the ball in hand a little. Terrific assist for Lineham's try.
Some massive carries of the ball and was a constant threat. One of the few players performing at a high level right now.
4) Bryson Goodwin
Strong carries of the ball and was largely good in defence apart from failing to get over to stop Greg Minikin's try.
5) Blake Austin
Set up two tries with a pinpoint kick and a good ball to Currie, but teams are doing good marshalling jobs on him at the moment, with defensive sevens (Theo Fages, Paul McShane) defending against him.
6) Danny Walker
It says a lot that a player who only played about 15 minutes ranks as the sixth best player. I do like Walker.
7) Joe Philbin
Not a great impact from the bench by any means, but didn't do a great deal wrong in the game.
8) Declan Patton
Ranks fairly highly because of some brilliant goals, but his general play wasn't great, he takes too long to make a decision which often means that by the time he has made the decision the chance has gone.

9) Chris Hill
Good metres but his leadership as captain is poor. Not sure he's someone who can galvanise the team.
10) Josh Charnley
Made a poor decision to kick the ball when he should've backed himself, and was at the centre of the game's key moment when his offload hit the floor.
11) Jason Clark
Not at all impactful on the game but at least made a good number of tackles. Still think he's not doing anywhere near enough for the money he's on.
12) Matt Davis
This is probably the first time Davis hasn't impressed with a few moments of silliness in the game. Was very surprised he didn't start.
13) Jack Hughes
I've never been a Hughes fan but he is bang out of form at the moment. Gives away stupid penalties and for me isn't a strong enough captain.
Mamo is just so poor defensively. One good tackle on Trueman early on, but other than that he had a bad game. Decent going forward, but his timing isn't great. Nice try.
15) Tom Lineham
Fair play to him for carrying on when he was clearly hurt, but this was a poor display from Lineham. Should've done better for the first try, and knocked on a few times, as well as being forced into touch.
16) Toby King
I'm a big fan of Toby King but he had an absolute nightmare at Cas. Errors galore. This is uncharacteristic for him though, he's had a good season, but does he have a good enough passing range for a centre?
17) Lama Tasi
I mean, what on earth was the point in signing Tasi? The man gave away three stupid penalties, is shocking on the ball, and knocked on when returning the kick-off. Nowhere near the standard we need.
