Warrington booked their place in the Challenge Cup semi-finals with a win over Catalans Dragons thanks to a brace of tries from Daryl Clark.
Here are my six major talking points...
1) Cloud nine
Daryl Clark is the best player in Super League at the minute. Yet another game where he has the deciding influences. A ridiculously good player.
2) We've got a semi on
That's an eleventh semi-final for Warrington in 13 years. It's a very, very impressive record and Steve Price has made the last four in all four of his campaigns.
3) New number one
Greg Inglis played this game at full-back and didn't really have much influence in the match at all. I do think he would be better at centre where he'd have to do less running.
4) No Austin Powers
After Stefan Ratchford pulled out in the warm-up, this was a big chance for Blake Austin. He wasn't abysmal, but he didn't really take the chance, either.
5) The kid is alright
Josh Thewlis came up with a really strong performance. I remain convinced that he is the most talented youngster in the Wire academy.
6) Front line servicemen
Whenever you play Catalans, you have to get on top of their forwards. Kudos to Hill and Cooper, that's exactly what they did.
Player Ratings
Greg Inglis - 5/10
Not sure he's got the legs to be playing at full-back. Get him at centre.
Josh Thewlis - 8/10
Commendable performance from the youngster, outstanding defensively.
Toby King - 9/10
Warrington's real strike player right now. Can create something from nothing. Needs a contract.
Jake Mamo - 8/10
Very impressive again in attack and defence.
Josh Charnley - 7/10
Has upped his game in recent weeks, particularly defensively.
Blake Austin - 5/10
Thrown back into the team at the last minute and badly struggled.
Gareth Widdop - 8/10
Imperious in defence and good game management too.
Chris Hill - 9/10
Monstrous first half. Wire's forwards really got on top.
Daryl Clark - 9/10
Arguably the best player in Super League right now. Consistently excellent week after week.
Mike Cooper - 8/10
Massive shift as the forwards ran the rule over the Dragons.
Ben Currie - 6/10
Much quieter game in attack but very solid in defence.
Jack Hughes - 8/10
His best game of the season so far, worked really hard.
Jason Clark - 7/10
Still think he's better off the bench but displayed his technical qualities.
Joe Philbin - 7/10
Came off the bench for big carries to help spell Hill and Cooper.
Sitaleki Akauola - 7/10
Looks to have a new lease of life in the last few weeks.
Robbie Mulhern - 8/10
Excellent again. Really helped lift the weight off Hill and Cooper.
Matt Davis - 5/10
Came on for the closing stages as a number nine, where I've wanted to see him for a while.
