Set of Six: Salford 18-62 Warrington

A sensational performance from the Wire as they made it two wins on the spin by decimating Salford away from home.

1) Deadly 60
This was the first time since April 2019 away at Hull FC that Warrington have scored 60 points in a game, and it's great to see the attack looking so potent.

2) Best in the country
Gareth Widdop is the best player in the competition right now. Week after week, he is setting up and scoring tries, as well as putting in mammoth shifts defensively.

3) King of the Wolves
A great night for Toby King, with two tries and an assist, and most importantly, a new contract in his pocket. What a piece of news for Wire to hang on to the centre.

4) Walk in line
A really impressive showing from Danny Walker tonight, who played the full 80 minutes and offered a lot, as well as finishing off a break.

5) Waiting in the wings
Tom Lineham didn't get a try - but came very close - though he had a really good game, making metre after metre and contributing a lot on his return to the team.

6) Red-hot Currie
A try and an assist for the second rower. He told the press in 2019 that it would take him about 18 months to get back to his best, and here he is.
