We've reviewed the players and the matches, now it's time to have a look at Warrington's twenty best tries from the season just gone.
20) JOSH CHARNLEY v Leeds Rhinos
5th July
79th Minute
Blake Austin utilises Wire's two-man advantage well to switch the play back to the left side and send a looping kick over to the onrushing Charnley.
19) TOBY KING v Leigh Centurions
2nd April
61st Minute
A wonderful run and dummy from Widdop on the last tackle, and despite being wrapped up, he gets the ball away to Currie, who throws a no-look pass to King between his legs for another Wire try.
18) JAKE MAMO v Castleford Tigers
5th June
46th Minute
I try not to think much about the Challenge Cup Semi-Final this year, but Jake Mamo's try in the defeat was a stunner. A short ball from Austin and Mamo unleashes his pace to outstrip three Cas men and score.
17) BEN CURRIE v Wigan Warriors
30th June
73rd Minute
This is outstanding centre play from young Connor Wrench. Some good footwork to hold off the Wigan men, and he then gets the ball away to Currie to score.
16) JOSH CHARNLEY v Leigh Centurions
24th June
53rd Minute
I like this try a lot. One of few times we actually saw Blake Austin and Widdop combine together in the halves. Widdop sends a beautiful pass out wide to Charnley, who is given a walk-in try.
15) BEN CURRIE v Catalans Dragons
24th April
33rd Minute
Sensational work from Daryl Clark to get Wire level in Perpignan. He darts from dummy-half and is away, passing to Currie to cross.
14) CHRIS HILL v Hull FC
18th April
62nd Minute
Daryl Clark. Daryl flaming Clark. How on God's Green Earth does he get this ball out and to Hill?
13) JAKE MAMO v Wakefield Trinity
15th August
69th Minute
A part of the Wakefield nearly-comeback that showed how potent we can be when we give the ball air. A superb run from Walker, who finds King, before Mamo strolls inside to finish.
12) GARETH WIDDOP v Castleford Tigers
22nd May
25th Minute
Individual brilliance. Widdop shapes to pass to Mamo and the entire Castleford edge buy the dummy, allowing Widdop to go through and show his strength to fight off the challenge and finish one-handed.
11) MATTY ASHTON v Castleford Tigers
16th September
6th Minute
A lightning start at the Jungle in the last game of the season. Widdop sends Currie through the line, before Mamo is released and utilises Ashton's superb support play from full-back.
10) JAKE MAMO v Huddersfield Giants
26th August
28th Minute
A try all about the individual quality of two players. Widdop cleverly collects a Huddersfield kick on the turn before breaking, directing Mamo to the short side before delivering the pass. The Australian then out-paces Jake Wardle to touch down.
9) GARETH WIDDOP v Leigh Centurions
2nd April
37th Minute
The left edge at its clinical best. Clark to Ratchford, who sends Currie through a gap. Widdop releases the ball to King and gets it back from the centre to score after his excellent support play.
8) DARYL CLARK v Castleford Tigers
22nd May
77th Minute
Just how does he get this ball down? Despite the attentions of four Castleford men, and facing the wrong way, the number nine manages to ground the ball successfully.
7) TOM LINEHAM v Leigh Centurions
2nd April
10th Minute
Good work from Wire's three pivot players here; Clark, Austin and Widdop, the latter floats a glorious pass out wide to Lineham, who finishes with aplomb, touching down one-handed in the corner.
6) JAKE MAMO v Castleford Tigers
16th September
8th Minute
Once again, Wire enjoyable when attacking from deep and throwing the ball around. Here, the forwards even get in on the act. Mike Cooper plays a swerving ball to Hill, who is through a gap and finds Mamo on his shoulder to score.
5) DANNY WALKER v Leeds Rhinos
1st August
76th Minute
A try that is made more admirable given the circumstances. A man down, six points behind and three minutes left, Walker capitalises on a quick play-the-ball from Robbie Mulhern, before darting and arching his way to the line to touch down and score a vital try.
4) BEN CURRIE v St Helens
17th June
22nd Minute
The only try of Warrington's most impressive victory this year. It goes through hands on the left side, Widdop combines nicely with Ratchford, who plays a delightful flat pass to Lineham. The winger is free after King has attracted the attention of Tommy Makinson, and is able to find Currie, who races away and scores.
3) TOBY KING v Catalans Dragons
24th April
38th Minute
Actually, all four of Wire's tries in Perpignan were of serious quality. This one was particularly enjoyable. Widdop decides to run the ball on the last, Mamo does well to keep it alive and return it to Widdop, who picks out a splendid, cross-field kick to the onrushing King, who has stayed onside. Widdop changes his mind late here and comes up with outstanding technique and angle on the kick.
2) GARETH WIDDOP v Leigh Centurions
24th June
48th Minute
I love this try. Clever movement of feet from Walker to get away and break, and he manages to pick a pass to the impressive Longstaff. The young second rower has Widdop in support play and the half-back has the presence of mind and intelligence to use the wet pitch to his advantage and slide across the line. A try that fused youth with experience, and full of quality.
1) GEORGE WILLIAMS v St Helens
30th August
37th Minute
My favourite Warrington try this season is George Williams' score in the home defeat to Saints a month ago. The former Wigan half-back runs the ball on the 5th tackle, finds Longstaff, who in turn finds Mamo. The centre gives it out the back to his winger, and Thewlis accurately kicks ahead, with Williams collecting the kick on the bounce and out-pacing Lewis Dodd to score. We are so much better when we give the ball some air.
