An abrupt end to Warrington's run of victories after a limp home defeat to Leeds this evening.
1) The winning run ends
Wire's run of six wins in a row ends with a crushing defeat to the Leeds Rhinos. It was fun while it lasted.
2) A messy show
So many errors tonight, it's staggering how many players made basic individual mistakes.
3) Manic Monday
Wire's last two league defeats have come on Monday nights at home to West Yorkshire teams. Are the short turnarounds causing us problems?
4) Too much to do
It was actually a similar game to the Huddersfield one, Wire threatening a comeback but having left themselves far much to do from the first half.
5) Too light
I was surprised that Steve Price picked Matt Davis and Danny Walker to start the game. Surely against such a big pack you should be starting your biggest forwards?
6) Wingers
The two wingers played like they were drunk in the first half. Lineham and Charnley between them were atrocious.
